Being a huge gamer and a sucker for anything retro from my early gaming years, when our friends over at PDP said they were sending out their latest Pixel Pals, I was pretty excited.

For those that aren’t too sure what Pixel Pals are, they are light-up pixelated figurines of video game icons from both past and present. I’ve been collecting these fun little things since the beginning and now PDP have released 2 new Pixel Pals, Ryu and Chun-Li from their Street Fighters 30th Anniversary range.

As I mentioned before, these adorable Pixel Pals do require two AAA batteries (not included) with each figure standing about six-inches tall. At the back you’ll a switch, flick this on and your new Pixel Pal will light up bringing your new pal to life. Right away I promise you the minute you see these light up, you’ll fall in love with them.

These are a great piece of collectible art for any gaming fan. If you’re anything like me, you’ll want to collect them all, so If you’re interested to know more or pick a few up for yourself, you can do so by heading over to PDP’s websitePDP’s website or over at EB Games.
