Injustice 2 was everyone at MKAU’s fighting game of the year for 2017 and well I’m sure we all feel the same way still. This edition brings all the DLC characters for one great price.

The big boss of MKAU Lance, originally reviewed Injustice 2 so i'll leave a link below and i'll mostly go over what’s new or any issues I seen in my time playing.

So what’s changed since Lance reviewed the game? Well nothing except DLC characters. Now there's 38 playable characters and there are some pretty cool characters in the game now. The one I was the most crazy about was the TMNT’s but it’s not just one but all four ninja turtles!!! DLC characters were a mixed bag for some players, but they were all decent in my eyes. besides the Ninja Turtles there was Hellboy, Black Manta, Enchantress, Redhood, Atom, Raiden, Subzero and Teen Titans Starfire. But there are two others, first being Darkseid who was originally a pre order bonus, and secondly Brainiac who could be purchased or unlocked for free by simply finishing the story mode, both are now unlocked and playable in the Legendary Edition of Injustice 2. There are skins for some characters that are included just as they were for season pass owners, frankly the Legendary Edition is the game plus the season pass.

Well, that’s what’s new with Injustice 2. Lance covered a lot in his review, so it's definitely worth checking out, but it can't hurt for me to cover the few things worth playing in the game. Multiverses are great for playing to earn new items for all characters featured in the game, items include special attacks, colours and better gear! You can play yourself or set AI characters to do it for you.

Mother Boxes are also earned from playing Multiverses, as well as leveling up characters and your account. You can purchase these with real currency, but I never did and I still earned a ton of gear for all my characters.

Injustice 2 has a great online multiplayer, but beware, there are some players with ridiculous skills at playing this. You can play ranked matches and playing with friends in private lobbies along with the fan favorite mode, King of the Hill.

Injustice 2 is one sexy ass looking game, it's visuals are something I’d brand spectacular. Having played majority of my time on PS4 on a pro console, I can say resolutions between both PS4 and Xbox One differs, reaching only 1440p on PS4 Pro and around 1620p on Xbox One X but both run 60fps, and in all honesty, there is a difference between the two but it's nothing drastic, maybe if the One X was native 4K it would be a different story, though PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One S and X all support HDR. Having spent my time playing on PS4 since the game launched I never came accross any audio issues, though I did when I recently started playing on Xbox One. They're only minor issues but I couldn’t forget to mention them both. The first issue was a slight lip sync issue when playing the story mode, my second issue was at random while fighting the audio would cut out for a split second, again they're aren't big issues and certainly don’t affect the gameplay.

Is this a game you should play? Yes! If you already own the game it's best to just purchase the season pass, but if you don’t already own Injustice 2, the Legendary Edition is a great price at less then $100 and includes all DLC characters.
