Croteam have come together with Binx Interactive to give you a crazy infinite runner. If you are not familiar with Croteam, they are the team behind Serious Sam, bringing Serious Sam and plenty of experience in the industry to this joint project with Binx.

The game itself is an infinite runner, with stages shown by a progress bar at top centre of the screen. At the end of each stage you get a choice of perks to make you stronger in the battle of running backwards. The name itself is hilarious, with the graphics similar to Minecraft and arcade mechanics making it a tempting product for those gamers that like a score beating challenge.

As the name suggests, you are sprinting backwards in an action movie style while shooting your chasing enemies. They do not only chase but enter from the sides of the screen and there are plenty of enemies to discover. The sounds and style are very appealing, making it feel a lot more intense.

You have a choice of three characters from the offset (Including Serious Sam) and can unlock more as your progress. All with their hilarious names and style to add to the experience.

There is a farse array of weapons and power-ups available, which brings me to the controls. As WASD and Mouse is all you need. With mouse being shoot weapon with left click, using your special weapons and power-ups with right click and leaving the centre scroll for weapon change.

It is a very addictive game, as you constantly want to beat your previous progress and score. Growing stronger as you progress and getting harder (Obviously). You can also enter daily challenges that differ each day but offer an opportunity to beat other online scores. At this point in time it is Local Multiplayer, or you can go it alone.

The main menu offers Netricsa which is similar to a museum of sorts. Showing all encountered power ups, enemies, bosses and characters unlocked. You also can see their information and what they offer to the gameplay.

In essence the game is a brilliant time waster, making it quite suited to mobile gaming if they ever considered it. You will find you it is a game you will either get sucked into or use in those moments you fancy some quick action gameplay. But I feel as it stands, the life is short. But with the world of updates and patches this game could grow stronger in its lifetime. It does have some fun gameplay and replay ability, but feel the price may turn some people away at quick glance, but worth trying or keeping an eye on in the near future if it is above your limit.
