The Raiju Tournament Edition controller for the PS4 is Razers latest and greatest. I started off by pairing the controller to the PS4 and I found the Bluetooth connection was very quick and simple to do with the three connectivity options available on the controller.

Upon trying this controller with a few different platforms and games, I found the following. The controller is very responsive with gameplay when buttons are pressed. There was no delay like there usually is with a few seconds delay with a normal PS4 controller.

There was no delay when moving the joysticks when it came to tasks like running, walking, driving and camera controls. I also found the vibration to be perfectly in sync with the characters action, unlike the normal PS4 controller. The touchpad is very responsive and easy to work with when it is used as an action or drawing tool in games like Tearaway Unfolded.

The downfall is that it does not have the light bar at the front of the controller like your normal PS4 controller. This becomes a problem when the game is strongly required to use it. In a game like Tearaway Unfolded, it is used as your light to see your path and reveal/ unlock things in the game. Without the light ability, you would not be able to progress on with games like Tearaway Unfolded.

When it came to shooters like Fortnite or Call of Duty, it was very responsive, quick and easy to use. The Ergonomic multi-function button layout works very well too. M1 is Square, M2 is Triangle, M3 is Cross/X and M4 is Circle making it quicker for fast access and also includes a feature called hair trigger mode for that extra competitive advantage.

The app that is available on the app stores for Apple and Android, which is easy to use, allows you to control the percentage of the vibration and allowing you map out your keys. Unfortunately though, it is very hard to connect with platforms such as Facebook. It just didn't want to connect after I tried multiple times, even when it had the option to do so. The cable is long and easy for charging, perfect for both casual and tournament gaming.

It has a nice ergonomic weight, shape and enhanced texture grip for your hands. It can be sensitive at times, but this can be either an advantage or disadvantage. Overall, I found it to be a very easy to use controller and one I'm happy to keep using as my main, go to controller.
