Today, Ubisoft® revealed the list of professional organisations selected to be part of R6 SHARE, as well as their initial Tier placement in the program. R6 SHARE is the cornerstone of Ubisoft’s vision of sustainable esports for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege and aims to ensure a mature and virtuous environment for partner organisations. R6 SHARE will support 42 organisations worldwide and introduces a multi-tier support system with three Tiers, to adapt both revenue shares and requirements to the variable situations that organisations worldwide face. Following a qualitative in-depth selection process conducted with the assistance of an independent third party, the 42 selected teams have been placed in Tiers listed below. Today, Ubisoft announced the full details of the third season of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege Year 5: Operation Shadow Legacy. This new Operation introduces Sam ‘Zero’ Fisher from the Splinter Cell series as a new playable Operator, in addition to an entirely reworked Chalet map and additional gameplay features. In Operation Shadow Legacy, players will be able to rediscover Sam Fisher as an Attacker named Zero, equipped with a new gadget, the Argus Launcher, a two-way drill camera. Today, at the Six Invitational 2020, Ubisoft announced the full details of the first season of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege Year 5. Operation Void Edge introduces Iana and Oryx, the new Attacker and Defender from the Netherlands and Jordan, in addition to an entirely reworked Oregon map. Season 1 of Year 5 will also include a slew of gameplay changes and a limited-time event. Dutch Attacker Iana and Jordanian Defender Oryx are the two new Operators coming in Operation Void Edge. Today, Ubisoft® announced that the Road to S.I. in-game event is back in Tom Clancy’s® Rainbow Six Siege on a brand-new map – Stadium. The event will take place every weekend (from Friday to Monday) from January 16th to the end of the Six Invitational – Rainbow Six’s premiere esports event on February 16th. The event will also come with the first full Battle Pass for Rainbow Six Siege, which will contribute to the Six Invitational prize pool. During this event, Operators will try to prove who’s the best on a new map: Stadium, made especially for this competition. On Stadium, walls of bulletproof glass create new situations where you can see your opponents without being able to engage. Today, Ubisoft announced that Operation Shifting Tides, the fourth and final season of Year 4 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege, is now available for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC, including UPLAY+, Ubisoft’s subscription service for Windows PC*. Operation Shifting Tides brings two new Operators, Kali from India and the Kenyan, Wamai, to the game. The Theme Park map has also been completely reworked to improve playability and aesthetics, alongside many other improvements. Owners of the Year 4 Pass can play with the new Operators immediately, while those without will be able to unlock these Operators starting December 10 using Renown or R6 Credits.
