Wizard With a Gun, Galvanic and Devolver Digital’s magical survival epic, was already a great co-op game; but now it’s EVEN BETTER thanks to the hotly anticipated addition of four-player co-op! The free Better Together update—which is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X–finally brings the game in line with Galvanic’s original vision, letting up to four Gunmancers join forces in the Shatter and battle the forces of Chaos together. But don’t get cocky. Chaos won’t back down just because you have more firepower. Quite the opposite, in fact: more wizards means more danger. Better Together, the next free update for Galvanic and Devolver Digital’s magical survival epic Wizard With a Gun, will finally allow four Gunmancers to team up and battle the forces of Chaos. You and up to three other gun-wielding wizards can now join forces and delve into the Shatter. But as your numbers grow, so too does the strength of your enemies. Chaos won’t back down just because you have more firepower. Quite the opposite, in fact: more wizards means more danger. The Better Together update also brings difficulty modes to the game, which has been a highly requested feature from players. You can now choose from four different difficulties for your next adventure: Ranger (Easy), Gunslinger (Normal), Sheriff (Hard), and Outlaw (Very Hard). To celebrate, the base game is now available with 40% off on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S|X for a limited time, with the Gunmancer Pack DLC also discounted on PC and PS5. But then another game about mowing down hordes of monsters with magic in a dark fantasy world—something called ‘Diablo 4’, which we’ve never heard of, but apparently a lot of people love—decided it was going to release on Steam on the same day. One of the more magical elements of the upcoming Wizard with a Gun is the ability to craft Spells (ammo) and Powders (modifiers) to create sensational offensive and utility abilities that can be combined in surprising ways. You won’t get far without levelling up your arsenal and enchanting your gear, so your Gunmancer will need to embrace experimentation if they hope to survive. Load up different guns to dual-cast your concoctions or pack multiple chambers of the same gun to create emergent gameplay moments in solo or cooperative play.
