Blizzard Entertainment is thrilled to share a first look at what’s ahead for esports at BlizzCon 2026 with the announcement of the Blizzard Classic Cup captains: Nick “Tasteless” Plott and Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski.

For nearly two decades, “Tastosis” have been at the heart of Blizzard Esports history. At BlizzCon 2026, Tasteless and Artosis won’t just be behind the desk, casting matches. As captains of the first-ever Blizzard Classic Cup, they’ll draft and lead all-star teams into battle across four classic Blizzard titles: Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft: Remastered, StarCraft II, and Warcraft III: Reforged.

The Blizzard Classic Cup is just one part of a robust esports slate planned for BlizzCon 2026, with more still to be revealed. Additional details on the full esports lineup—as well as the Classic Cup’s format and prizing—will be coming soon.
