Pokémon GO City Safari is coming to Brisbane, Australia, on September 26 and 27, 2026!

Set off on a citywide adventure as you discover Brisbane’s iconic riverfront precincts, vibrant neighbourhoods and hidden gems while meeting new friends and encountering Pokémon along the way. Whether you’re a Brisbane local or visiting from interstate, Pokémon GO City Safari will take you across the city in a whole new way.

From bustling city streets and riverside parklands to cultural hotspots and scenic lookouts, get ready to experience Brisbane with Pokémon GO by your side.

LOCATION: Queen Street Mall, Brisbane, Australia
DATE: Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026
TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. AEST

Trainers can purchase a one-day ticket or upgrade with the Extra Day Add-On to enjoy both days of adventure. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and Terms of Service).

Explore Brisbane Through the GO Stamp Rally

Brisbane’s City Safari will feature a Pokémon GO Stamp Rally across some of the city’s most iconic locations.

Visit participating PokéStops and spin their Photo Discs to collect stamps and earn encounters with Eevee wearing an explorer hat. Stamp designs vary depending on how long you “press” the stamp, making each collection unique.

The Stamp Rally can be completed once per day during event hours.

Special Pokémon Encounters

Special Pokémon will appear throughout Brisbane during the event, including Mudbray, the Donkey Pokémon, which will be featured as part of the global Pokémon GO City Safari 2026 events.

Ticket-holding Trainers will also be able to participate in event-exclusive Special Research, helping Professor Willow investigate Pokémon appearing throughout the city while earning encounters with Eevee wearing an explorer hat and its evolutions.

If you’re lucky, you may even encounter a Shiny Pokémon during your adventure.

Visit the City Safari Hub for Exclusive Giveaways

Trainers can stop by the official City Safari hub on Queen Street Mall to collect exclusive event giveaways, including Pokémon GO City Safari Pikachu Visors and an Exclusive Pokémon GO City Safari sticker pack, while stocks last.

The City Safari hub will also be a great meeting place for Trainers to connect with fellow Pokémon GO fans throughout the weekend.

How to Purchase Tickets

Tickets are available through the Pokémon GO app:

Open Pokémon GO.
Tap the Main Menu.
Select Events.
Choose Pokémon GO City Safari: Brisbane.
Select your preferred date and add-ons.
Complete payment and receive your confirmation email.

Trainers can also purchase tickets for eligible friends, provided they are Great Friends or higher in Pokémon GO.
