Capcom has announced that Onimusha: Way of the Sword™ is charging forward to the 4th of September 2026 across PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Xbox Series X, and PC via code in box. The swordplay action game is now striking weeks sooner than anticipated, so players can leap into battle and immerse themselves in the Onimusha™ series’ long-awaited return as soon as possible.

Pre-orders for Onimusha: Way of the Sword are available now. Players who reserve their copy early will receive the “Sealed Curse” sword skin and “Lion Dog” charm as bonuses.

A demo for Onimusha: Way of the Sword is out now as well. In the demo, players can experience the game’s satisfying action while exploring an early slice of the game. Players with save data from the demo can also look forward to claiming a Kubi Akari charm as a special bonus when the full game arrives on the 4th of September.
