SEGA has announced that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available as a physical product on the 26th of March 2026! The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will feature the full base game on cartridge. Warp through Travel Rings into new dimensions where something new awaits around every twist and turn. Speed to victory solo or as a team as a variety of characters such as Hatsune Miku, SpongeBob SquarePants and Pac-Man (via the game’s Season Pass) in various offline and online modes and compete against players from around the world. Build the ultimate vehicle to match your racing style, unlock gadgets to gain the upper hand, and unleash power-up items to bring home the win! SEGA has officially released the SpongeBob SquarePants Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds! Players can now get behind the wheel of the Patty Wagon as SpongeBob himself or his best friend Patrick and race for first place through Bikini Bottom. The SpongeBob SquarePants Pack includes the following: SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star as playable characters Patty Wagon Vehicle Bikini Bottom Themed Course New SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired Music Tracks Six different emotes per character For those who want to take part in the SpongeBob SquarePants fun, the entire Season Pass is available for players to purchase, which includes access to even more exciting characters, vehicles, and courses. Players can also purchase the standalone SpongeBob SquarePants Pack as well. SEGA has officially released the free Joker content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds! Players can now jump in and race alongside Sonic and friends as the leader of the Phantom Thieves, Joker! The free Joker Content Drop includes the following: Joker as a playable character Joker’s vehicle, the Arsène Wing  Three new Joker-themed songs added to the Jukebox “Take Over” “Wake Up, Get Up, Get out There” “Victory” Special emotes and sounds Players who own the game will automatically receive the free Joker Content Drop. Please ensure the game is up to date to ensure the content downloads properly. An internet connection is required to claim add-ons.
