Sony Interactive Entertainment has overnight announced the upcoming launch of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. Players will be able to dive into the new edition on both PS5 and PS4 consoles from Friday, 20 August. The new edition will come packed with the original game and every piece of additional GOT content sold to date. As well as this, the Director’s Cut will include a brand-new adventure for Jin alongside a bunch of new features. Sony Interactive Entertainment has this morning announced that a Ghost of Tsushima movie is in the works. Sucker Punch Productions has partnered with Sony Pictures and film director Chad Stahelski to bring Ghost of Tsushima to life and to create some of the finest action scenes one could ever imagine. Nate Fox, Game Director from Sucker Punch Productions took to the PlayStation Blog to say, “The idea of translating our game into a new medium is exciting, and we’re intrigued by the possibilities. Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, Sucker Punch’s new cooperative multiplayer mode for its superlative samurai epic is now available as part of the game’s Version 1.1 update. Standing separate from the single-player story, this online-only* experience sees players play one of four legendary warriors. Players can build their legend and unlock new class-specific abilities, gear, and armour designs as they fight alongside friends in unique missions inspired by Japanese mythology. Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is an entirely new experience — it’s a separate mode that focuses on four warriors who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima.
