AMD Radeon RX 6800 GPU – Review

This is where I would normally write my review however, this time I have chosen to do my first video review. This is simply because I don’t believe I could do this review justice with just the written words.

I will say, in short, that I was impressed with the RX 6800 and that it offers a beastly performance for its chosen price range. The card is just a hair short of being a 4K PC gamers dream thanks to only a couple minor shortcomings. The beauty is that these shortcomings can be addressed by AMD from a software/driver/bios standpoint meaning that this card, while perhaps a little unfinished, still has massive potential beyond its form at release. And to be fair, we, the consumers, do get quite impatient causing hardware manufactures and software developers to sometimes rush a product to market.

Regardless of this though, AMD, simply put, is CRUSHING IT with its new generation of hardware!

Anyhoo, please feel free to check out my video review below and I hope it helps in your quest to find a better GPU.

The Good

  • 16GB
  • Well Priced
  • Excellent Performance
  • Ray Tracing
  • 4K/60 Gaming
  • Closes The Gap With The Competition

The Bad

  • Massive Performance Hit With Ray Tracing
  • Needs More Developer Support
  • Needs "DLSS"
