To celebrate the epic conclusion of the DOOM Eternal saga in The Ancient Gods – Part Two, Bethesda ANZ has teamed up with Australian cosplay and propmaker masters, Hench & Scrap Foundry, to create a life-size IRL version of the DOOM Slayer’s iconic Sentinel Hammer.

Gifted to him by Commander Valen, the DOOM Slayer will wield the Sentinel Hammer as he faces up against some of his most challenging enemies in The Ancient Gods – Part Two. Hench & Scrap Foundry are widely known for their work creating life-like custom gaming, pop culture and TV props and are a perfect fit for a piece as intricate and monumental as the Sentinel Hammer.

“To make the Sentinel Hammer, we first needed to painstakingly create the model to include a huge amount of detail and clarity, and then utilise two kinds of 3D print technology: FDM and SLA resin,” said Hench & Scrap Foundry. “After the printing was complete, we then carefully applied finishes and integrated complex electronics and a massive aluminium handle, before turning our attention to the final paint job. It turns out that harnessing Wraith Energy is quite the task!”
