Dell CES 2020 Announcements

I had the amazing opportunity to witness ahead of CES 2020, an amazing line up from Dell Technologies. With unveiled a new collection of PCs and monitors, designed for personal and professional use. Among the new announcements i have a few to show talk about, starting with the;

The new Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor, this bad boy has a 240 Hz refresh rate and is twice the speed of most gaming monitors and IPS technology ensures an even, consistent color experience at any angle, 99% sRGB color coverage brings a great viewing experience to the speed. Being a PC gamer visual quality is one of the most integral parts that most people don’t consider when gaming but this is def something that can give an extra edge during gaming. With one little thing I love is the on-screen-display/menu offers customization options and gamer-centric tools, such as a built-in FPS counter for gamers to constantly monitor your performance.

Next from Alienware is the new Aurora Ryzen Edition desktop, this powerhouse of a desktop that focuses primarily on a perfect gaming experience and that gamer that wants to take things to the next level . No messing about as the Aurora Ryzen based on a MicroATX motherboard engineered with the AMD AM4 B550A chipset and is also a dual-graphics, liquid cooled CPU overclocking. No messing about with tools, this baby is a smooth plug and play. Along with its sleek science fiction looks, it is the perfect compliment to any gamers’ surroundings.

Also to compliment the unique gaming setup is the ALIENWARE SECOND SCREEN (CONCEPT). Still in concert this is a part of Dell up and coming showcase, much like a race-car driver keeps track of their RPM and oil temperature. Second Screen is used in conjunction with your mobile to monitor your PC to track and help monitor your performance. This nice bit of kit is an interesting complement, especially when high gaming performance is integral. Eventually A full version of this solution would likely support both Alienware and G-Series products. I look forward to when this concept is finally released

The next item that Dell has announced is the Dell Cinema Guide, that is a PC solution that allows you to quickly and easily find television shows and movies across streaming services with one simple, seamless content guide application. This really peaked my fancy, especially with so many streaming services to keep track of its a real mess trying to find that perfect movie or TV show. But with the DEll Cinema Guide that is now a all in one guide to navigate all your Witcher or baby yoda needs.

And another sleek product that was announced is the Latitude 9510, envisioned as the first in the 9000 ultra-premium class of products, the Latitude 9510 gives a higher class to what laptops can be, with Its lightweight, portable and targets a record-breaking 30 hr battery life. This intelligent laptops uniquely adjusts to different users’ needs with a built-in AI platform for smarter system responsiveness, application performance, battery run time and supreme audio conferencing – all controlled through one module at no extra cost. Along with this is some impressive specs that can put some desktops to shame. Considering the Latitude 9510 is a laptop that is something to say. Being the the world’s smallest and lightest commercial 15-inch PC4, easily fitting into a small work bag. Starting at only 1.4kg (3.2 pounds5), professionals can travel light without carrying the extra weight of battery chargers, adapters or speakerphone pucks needed for a work day. The large screen size, along with Intel® Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) and 5G mobile broadband capabilities6, allow executives to be more productive wherever they need. The design incorporates 5G antennas into the speakers to retain the InfinityEdge display, while carbon blade fans and dual heat pipes offer a quiet and cool-to-the-touch experience. Launching with up to the latest 10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processors, the vPro ready Latitude 9510 features a machined-aluminium finish with diamond cut edges for professionals that want performance with style.

Overall Dells impressive line up for 2020 is a perfect start to the new year and with dell always striving for products that are truly futuristic, Dell along with Alienware have the look and feel that can take it there!
