Video game publisher and developer Cygames, Inc. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Koichi Watanabe, hereinafter referred to as “Cygames”) have announced that a demo version of Granblue Fantasy: Relink is available for download on the PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 platforms now. The full retail version releases on February 1, 2024.

Three modes are available in the Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo.

Story Mode

Experience a small slice of the main story! Upon completing this mode, players will earn a reward that is claimable in the full game of Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

Quest Mode

Work your way through a sampling of three quests that are playable solo or with other players via an internet connection! Upon completing this mode, players will earn rewards that are claimable in the full game of Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

Eleven characters are available in quest mode, each with their own unique fighting style. There’s someone for everyone!

Available Demo Characters: Gran, Katalina, Rackam, Io, Charlotta, Ghandagoza, Narmaya, Lancelot, Siegfried, Yodarha, and Zeta.

Tutorial Mode

Play through this mode to learn the basic controls!

• Content in the demo may differ from the full game.
• Game data can’t be saved or loaded in the demo.
• Progress made in the demo doesn’t transfer over to the full game.
• Demo rewards can’t be claimed in the full game if saved data for clearing the demo is lost or erased.
• There are no plans for a Steam version of the demo.
• Supported languages: English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil), Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.

Granblue Showcase: Part 2 – Relink Has Been Uploaded!

Granblue Showcase: Part 2 – Relink aired on January 11, in which more of Relink’s story and quests were introduced. In addition, the showcase revealed new information such as tense, high-difficulty quests for more advanced players, as well as touched upon future content updates after release.

Story

Granblue Fantasy takes place in the Sky Realm, a world where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. Take your role as captain of a skyfaring crew, joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers named Lyria. Together you sail with a colorful cast of crewmates, including kings and misfits alike, for Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies.

In the Zegagrande Skydom, islands are guarded by powerful creatures known as primal beasts and winds carry tales of a secretive organization known as the Church of Avia. Unveil a web of intrigue reaching far beyond the borders of Zegagrande and engage in a battle for the fate of the Sky Realm itself.
