Australian developer Pat Naoum is excited to announce the launch date for The Master’s Pupil, the hand-painted puzzle adventure that follows the life of Claude Monet through a rich variety of engaging visuals and dynamic soundscapes.
Releasing on 28 July 2023 via Steam for Windows and Mac, and Nintendo Switch.
Players must traverse the intricate world of Claude Monet’s eye to help him complete many of his masterpieces.
As you explore a spectacular hand-painted landscape, you will come across puzzles involving colour, physics, and space that you must solve to progress. And just as Claude Monet encountered many trials and tribulations throughout his life, the game also grows more challenging and complex with each level – culminating in a battle to save the eyes of the master artist himself!
The Master’s Pupil puts the art front and center, using a perfect mix of sound, gameplay, and visuals – rather than words – to subtly communicate the emotions and story of Claude Monet. As they progress through the game and best its challenges, players will be continuously rewarded with stunning backgrounds, captivating music, and Monet’s own work fusing to create an unforgettable gaming experience that explores the uniqueness of the master’s life.
Speaking about this incredible milestone, Pat Naoum – the sole developer of the game – said
“I’m nervous and exhilarated to be so close to launch. Still pouring as much polish into the game as possible, but I’m excited for everyone to play it!“
