International Stars Touch Down In Brisbane For Oz Comic-Con This Weekend – Full Line Up Revealed

Look out Brisbane! Oz Comic-Con returns this weekend to Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) to celebrate all things pop culture and round out a stellar year for Trekkies, Ringers and Jedi alike, bringing with it some extra special guests from around the globe.

This weekend on September 17th and 18th, BCEC will transform into a mecca of pop culture for Oz Comic-Con, allowing Brisbanians to revel in the festivities.

Iconic stuntman Kiran Shah, American Gods’ own Ricky Whittle and Omid Abtahi and Star Trek newcomer Jess Bush are just some of the talented guests making their way to Brisbane this weekend, joining an extensive lineup of homegrown and international actors and voice actors, cosplayers, and comic book artists and authors. Following on from a successful Melbourne launch, the Cozplay Competition, Cosplay Skit Competition, and a Cosplay Props competition will also return.

So, if you feel your artistry lies more in the world of special effects or prop building or you simply want to exercise your acting chops in the skit competition, there is going to be a showcase for your talents.

Not to forget the staple elements of the show, visitors will be able to visit Artist Alley and Cosplay Central, try their hand at tabletop gaming, and meet some of the country’s top comic artists and authors from some of the most esteemed franchises in the world.
