The expansion of the game has brought new features that have certainly elevated the overall experience of the game. Square Enix, the developers of the game have tightened the nuts and bolts of the game to give the gamers an incredible new feel to the game and the features are live on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and the Xbox Series X. We have split all the details into different sections making it easier for our readers. Let’s get into the details.
There have been multiple improvements made in order to make the visual effects of enemy abilities more consistently timed with their relevant effects. For more gaming updates and patch notes, be sure to check out Les Zampino‘s articles for the latest insights and gameplay tips!

Outriders Patch Notes for New Features
Item Locking
One of the key highlights of the latest patch is the introduction of long-awaited item-locking functionality in the game. If you are a part of any outriders community discussion you would know that item locking was one of the most talked about things in the game.
Camera-When-Sprinting
The camera used to turn around when players sprinted in the game and was an extremely annoying thing to deal with. Well, it is finally time to thank the game’s developers that the cameras won’t turn anymore while sprinting.
Now you can make the sprint behaviour between “Toggle” and “Hold to Sprint” consistent.
Resources & Anomaly Extract
Players will notice that the amount of Anomaly Extract gained is elevated and the amount of Anomaly Extract gained in Tarya Gratar’s Troves has been increased by 500%.
Also, the Boss-rushing the final arbiter will now net slightly more anomaly extract than ever before. (PS- The writers of this blog think it might not be the most efficient route for Anomaly Extract farming)
Anomaly Extract Cost
From now on, at Item Level 50, the anomaly extract costs that are required to upgrade the gear would cost five per cent less.
Expeditions
Developers have increased the expedition rewards in the latest Outriders patch notes keeping in mind that the expeditions should feel more viable alongside the Tarya Gratar.
The “Loot Gained per X Time Investment” will most definitely now feel quite similar between the expeditions and the Tarya Gratar.
Gamers will now start receiving a greater amount of Epic and Legendary Items and comparatively fewer Rare items in Expeditions.
This was probably brought in after seeing how players in the last few months face difficulty in finding epic and legendary items significant in creating a strong build in their chosen classes.
Anomaly Extract farming should now also feel much more viable in Expeditions.
Apocalypse Tier Leveling
Post the latest patch update, starting from Apocalypse Tier 20, the requirement to level up each Apocalypse Tier has been reduced by 10%.
Apocalypse Gear Drop Rates
This might be startling but henceforth, starting at Apocalypse Tier 11, the “Increased chance for Apocalypse variant gear” has been increased for each Apocalypse Tier.
Outriders Patch Notes for Bug Fixes
Devastator
The developers have fixed a bug that prevented the Devastator class Pax nodes “Finishing Touch” and “Earthen Shell” from working properly after the player switched from any of the no-weapons-area.
Technomancer
Fixed a bug that prevented Technomancer class from activating the “Pain Launcher” skill if they were in close vicinity of any covers or walls.
One of the important bug fixes in the game that prevented Technomancers from switching between multiple camera sides when using the Tools of Destruction Minigun.
Fixed a bug that caused the stats screen of Technomancers to display abnormal results while the Tool of Destruction skill was active.
Trickster
Fixed a bug that prevented the Tricksters to trigger their infamous “Hunt the Prey” skill against the enemies that were using any cover.
Fixed a bug that caused Tricksters to lock up if they used “Hunt the Prey” on an enemy who died at the same time.
Fixed a bug that could cause Tricksters to get stuck in geometry on certain levels when using “Hunt the Prey”.
Fixed a bug that could cause the Tricksters “Twisted Round” skill to remain active indefinitely if the player was staggered during the reload animation.
Fixed a bug that was causing the “Venator’s Knife” skill to deal inconsistent damage when used in combination with certain mods.
Fixed a bug that caused the “Time Rift” mod “Weightlessness” to show in the incorrect duration of 5 seconds in its tooltip. The correct value is 3 seconds, which is now correctly displayed.
SKILLS
The game finally has fixed the bug that was causing the “Twisted Rounds”, “Volcanic Rounds” and “Blighted Rounds” skills to be blocked when firing from any one-shot weapon in the arsenal.
Also, we now have the fixed bug that earlier prevented the mods “Minefield” and “Legendary Minefield” from triggering more than once per enemy, defeating the actual purpose of the mods.
GEAR:
Earlier the status power provided by items started multiplying instead of decreasing as players increased their Apocalypse Tiers. This unintentionally leads to increases as high as 700% Status power at Apocalypse Tier 40. (NOT KIDDING :P)
Fixed a bug that allowed the game to drop the headgear, “Wraith’s Mask” for which there was no “transmog” design.
BUG FIXES ENEMIES
One of the most prominent bugs in the game has finally been fixed by developers that could cause enemies from being properly affected by or not animating and despawning properly when hit with either the Impale (Devastators) and Earthquake, Feed the Flames and Overheat (Pyromancer) or a Cold Snap or Cryo Turret (Technomancers) skill while the enemy was affected by the Phoenix Aura effect.
Fixed a bug that caused Skirmisher Warlords to appear on the Trial of Tarya Gratar’s score screen multiple times.
Fixed a bug that allowed players to enter cover when affected by the Executioner’s Chain Lock ability.
There have been multiple improvements made in order to make the visual effects of enemy abilities more consistently timed with their relevant effects.
