The master of the ninja arts returns to face an unparalleled evil! SEGA® of America has released a new trailer in anticipation of the 29th of August launch of SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance.

The trailer showcases the upcoming 2D action platformer set in a stunning hand-drawn world created in collaboration with developer Lizardcube, the studio behind the acclaimed Streets of Rage 4. SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance releases on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on the 29th of August 2025.

Players can also look forward to the SEGA Villains Stage DLC, which is set to release in early 2026. The action-packed stage will feature iconic SEGA characters, including the evil genius from the Sonic the Hedgehog^™ series, Dr. Eggman, with more enemies to be announced in the future. A free demo featuring an enhanced version of the game’s first stage is available for download on all major platforms right now.
