After taking Melbourne by storm last weekend, Australia’s premier pop culture event, Supanova Comic Con & Gaming, is “up, up, and away!” for Goldnova, blasting into the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre on 12-13 April!

Faster than a speeding bullet, The CW’s Last Son of Krypton Tyler Hoechlin leads the charge, otherwise known for his fan-favourite roles as Derek Hale in Teen Wolf and Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. 

The Superman & Lois Supa-Star is joined by another legendary actor known for his work in acclaimed comic book adaptations; Hellboy’s Abe Sapien, Doug Jones, set to make his Supanova debut exclusively on the Gold Coast.

A longtime collaborator of director Guillermo Del Toro, starring in The Shape of Water and Pan’s Labyrinth, Supa-Fans will perhaps know Jones best as Admiral Saru in Star Trek: Discovery.

From a galaxy far, far away, Gold Coast convention goers will have the chance to meet Star Wars and Once Were Warriors icons Temuera Morrison and Rena Owen, alongside series mainstay and prolific puppeteer Mike Quinn, as well as The Bad Batch’sMichelle Ang. Lovers of The Lord of the Rings can catch The Rings of Power’s Lloyd Owen, with Disney star Mitchell Hope also set to ‘descend’.

Sadly, unavoidable schedule changes have meant that Rick Cosnett (The Flash) has had to postpone his exclusive appearance at the event. In his place, Nathan Jones joins Supanova on the road once more, known for his larger-than-life roles in Mad Max: Fury Road and its recent prequel, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

Animation enthusiasts won’t want to miss certified Pokémon Master Sarah Natochenny, Ash Ketchum in the later seasons of Pokémon; with the titular star of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir and Helluva Boss’ Verosika Mayday, Cristina Vee, making her Gold Coast-exclusive appearance.
