Today, Ubisoft Australia announced the official theme song of the Rainbow 6 Oceanic Nationals (OCN) for 2022 will be ‘Chosen’, by local musicians, Banks Arcade.

‘Chosen’, Banks Arcade’s latest single was developed specifically with the OCN in mind and is a gripping three minutes that channels hard rock, grunge, electro and metalcore, reflecting the tension of the OCN tournament. ‘Chosen’ will be the featured soundtrack throughout the OCN tournament, commencing March 25th, which will see the best eight Rainbow Six Siege esports teams from region compete for a $25,000 prize pool in Stage 1.

“It’s so cool to work on a project like this because it forces you to think outside the box when you are creating something for a specific purpose”, said Joshua O’Donnell, Banks Arcade lead singer.

“Harlan (Allen-Jone, bass) and James (Feekes, drums) are avid gamers and if Harlan wasn’t doing music he’d be trying to do it professionally. They both played Ubisoft games growing up so it’s really exciting to be able to collaborate with them!”

Ubisoft Australia is also pleased to share that UNFD will be the official Music Partner for the OCN 2022 season. UNFD is an artist-focused independent record label founded in Melbourne, Australia, with offices all over the world.

All matches of the Oceanic Nationals will be broadcast on the global Rainbow 6 Bravo channel from Friday, March 25 at 7:00PM AEDT on Twitch.
