Today, Ubisoft Australia announced the 2022 Season of the Oceanic Nationals (OCN) will commence on March 25th. In Stage 1, the best Rainbow Six Siege teams in the Oceanic region will play to earn their share of the $25,000 AUD prize pool.

During Stage 1, eight teams will compete in a single round robin format BO1 series with overtime to see who will take out their share of the prize pool.

The full schedule for Stage 1 of the OCN is as follows:

• Playday #1 – Friday, March 25
• Playday #2 – Friday, April 1
• Playday #3 – Saturday, April 2
• Playday #4 – Friday, April 8
• Playday #5 – Monday, April 11
• Playday #6 – Friday, April 22
• Playday #7 – Friday, April 29

Stage 1 will include a promotion and relegation match, with the bottom placed team in OCN competing against the top team from the Oceanic Challenger League (OCL). The stage will finish with all teams from OCN and OCL competing in a brand-new finals tournament, the Oceanic Championship Series. All teams will face off in a Round of 16 elimination bracket to determine a champion and claim an additional $10,000 AUD in prizing.

For the 2022 season, OCN will comprise of two stages, with Stage 2 taking place between June and August.

LIVIN, the mental health organisation, will return as a charity partner to help break the stigma around mental health and share its core message ‘It Ain’t Weak to Speak’. You can find more information about LIVIN here: https://www.livin.org/ .

Additionally, the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife (FNPW) will also partner with Ubisoft Australia.
