‘Stunt Bike Extreme’ is an arcade-like, motocross game from Hyperkani that closely follows the ‘Trials HD’ layout. I was thrilled to get the chance to cover this title, as it fondly reminds me of my childhood days playing Trials HD for hours and hours on end. Long story short, if you were a fan of Trials HD, you’re sure to fall in love with Stunt Bike Extreme, much like I did.
Stunt Bike Extreme focuses on quick levels and simple-to-learn controls, much like the Trials HD formula. At your disposal are 400+ levels across varying environments, new bikes, a plethora of different gear for your rider, and even hidden chests that give you extra coins when you explore the map. Stunt Bike Extreme is sure to have you hooked for hours, like I was.
Stunt Bike Extreme keeps it real simple: lean with the left joystick, and use the triggers for braking and accelerating is all you need to blast into the action. There is no over-complicated tutorial, much like other games, so you can jump in and go flat stick right from the jump, learning as you go.

While some levels get progressively difficult and take multiple attempts, I wasn’t left feeling frustrated, which was a big standout to me. None of the levels were overly complicated, but they were more balanced in terms of difficulty. I would like to see in future updates the addition of custom maps or skill-based maps for players who want that extra challenge, as it will add another layer to the game, but only time will tell.
As stated before, there are over 400 levels for you to race through, and heaps of customisation for your rider and your bike. There isn’t much more to it other than the bikes, as some are better than others in terms of stats. While I could have gotten a new bike to make things easier, I loved that I was still able to complete the higher levels on the starting bike. I found this quite pleasant, seeing as some games you’d have to upgrade to reach a certain point in the level.
Overall, I found Stunt Bike Extreme to be very forgiving and relaxing. A lot of games nowadays don’t hit the spot or feel overly complicated, whereas Hyperkani has perfected the arcadey stunt bike formula of keeping it simple yet appealing.

For an arcade game, you wouldn’t expect much in terms of visuals, but boy, was I mistaken. While the scenery isn’t over the top, it’s again kept simple with gorgeous backdrops, explosions, fire, and skies, who wouldn’t love that? Vomits of bright colours are everywhere, with stone left unturned in providing the eyes with a beautiful scenery while soaring through the skies, attempting a triple backflip before crashing.
Sounds are where it’s at in Stunt Bike Extreme. The bike’s sounds are crisp, and the explosions are otherworldly, but I found the soundtrack absolutely gnarly. The best way I can describe the soundtrack is 2000s Punk Rock, need I say more? Epic stunts paired with hectic 2000s Punk is a match made in heaven for revheads alike, ultimately adding to the already epic environment.
To sum up, Stunt Bike Extreme is a fun yet simple title that pairs epic music, simple controls, and adrenaline-fueled gameplay. Following the formula from Trials HD, Stunt Bike Extreme lays it all out perfectly. Fans of the Trials title are sure to love this game, much like I did. There really wasn’t much I could ‘flip’ at.
