Fallout 76 – Free Play Week, In-Game Events, Fallout 1st Preview & More Begin Now
Bombs Drop Day is here and to celebrate Fallout 76 is free-to-play across all platforms this week! Players will be treated to limited-time in-game events including a Legendary Vendor Sale, plus a limited Fallout 1st preview, game sales, discounts for Atoms packs and more. Free Play Week From October 20 through October 26, players can hop into Fallout 76 and play the game for free! This includes the base game experience, as well as Wastelanders and Nuclear Winter. Players can jump in from the start of the game, and if they decide to purchase the game when the Free Play Week ends, all progress will carry over, and so will any Atomic Shop purchases made during the week. The roadmap outlines future content coming to Fallout 76 this year including the introduction of Seasons, a major rebalancing of combat and rewards for Dwellers of all levels, C.A.M.P. Shelters, Legendary Perks, plus the start of a yearlong Brotherhood of Steel story arc and more. 76 Seasons Welcome to 76 Seasons! Seasons introduce a new account-wide progression system to Fallout 76 that overhauls the current Challenge system and help players rake in lots of new rewards along the way. Seasons will be available to all players and offer a unified progression path to unlock dozens of new and unique rewards from Power Armor paints and C.A.M.P. items to Atoms, Legendary Scrip, Perk Packs, and so much more. Today, Bethesda released the first slate of content for Wild Appalachia, a free update that brings a series of new quests, features, events, crafting systems and more to Fallout 76. Players can dive in now to start a brand-new quest that will teach them to brew up tasty beverages that will help (and potentially hinder) their ability to take on the horrors of Appalachia. We’ll also be releasing regular patches alongside Wild Appalachia to continue making updates and balance changes as well as introducing other new features such as player reporting and challenge tracking.
